Donald Charlson is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Acupuncturist who has been helping patients navigate complex health challenges for nearly three decades. His unique background spans emergency nursing, critical care, military medical service, and Traditional East Asian Medicine, giving him a perspective that's uncommon in the acupuncture profession.
Donald is based in Kennebunk and has a special interest and skills in oncology acupuncture, chronic pain, and integrative care.
He is the only Licensed Acupuncturist in Maine who is a member of the Society for Integrative Oncology and was selected for the inaugural Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center oncology acupuncture scholarship program.
His advanced training allows him to work alongside patients and their healthcare teams to support quality of life before, during, and after cancer treatment.
